Nain Rugs: Nain rugs originate from the Persian oasis city in the province of Isfahan. The city of Nain is known worldwide for its rug weaving workshops and is also known to many laymen. The distinctive light base tone is usually combined with a strong royal blue tone. The patterning of the rugs ranges from classic floral motifs to very unusual reinterpretations of other Persian patterns. Due to its patterning, color choice and knotting, the Nain rug is a particularly exclusive Persian rug that gives your interior an exclusive touch and a real eye-catcher.
Persian Rugs: Persian carpets are world-renowned for their quality and beauty. Genuine Persian carpets are hand-knotted and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dye. Characteristic of Persian carpets are also the elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The best-known provenances where carpets are knotted are Nain, Sarough, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Bijar and Ghom.
Virgin wool pile: A rug made of real virgin wool makes any interior style more cozy. The virgin wool itself has a very pleasant soft feel and also helps to dampen the sound and regulate the humidity in the room. Due to these properties, the well being with a rug made of genuine new wool increases directly noticeable.
Cotton chain: Cotton is an excellent warp (base fabric) for a genuine hand-knotted rug, as it is hard-wearing and at the same time can be spun fine and close-meshed.
Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
