Kashmar Rugs: Kashmar rugs are especially known for their diversity in design, which has often changed over time. In the past, these rugs were knotted in the style of the famous Herati pattern, but today they are made more in the so-called Sirchaki design. The interesting thing about this pattern is the reproduction of ancient excavated objects. Thus, vases, weapons and bowls can be found again and again on the rugs, which are staged around the central medallion.
Indian Rugs: The knotting of carpets in India dates back to the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. At that time, knotting factories were built according to the Persian model. The influence of the patterns can still be seen today, even though Indian carpets are of very good quality, especially in new creations.
Silk pile: Silk is the finest and most supple yarn in the world and thus gives the rug a very exclusive touch. Silk is used only for very high quality rugs and gives the rug a very pleasant feel.
