Mir Rugs: Mir rugs get their name from the so-called Mir pattern. Originally, the pattern comes from the Persian city of Sarough, but today it is knotted in many regions of the Orient. Due to the simple pattern, the carpet fits perfectly into an existing interior. Also characteristic is the beautiful soft wool. Nevertheless, it is densely knotted wool and particularly durable. The Mir rug is therefore suitable as an insensitive everyday companion in a beautiful pattern.
Persian Rugs: Persian carpets are world-renowned for their quality and beauty. Genuine Persian carpets are hand-knotted and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dye. Characteristic of Persian carpets are also the elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The best-known provenances where carpets are knotted are Nain, Sarough, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Bijar and Ghom.
Virgin wool pile: A rug made of real virgin wool makes any interior style more cozy. The virgin wool itself has a very pleasant soft feel and also helps to dampen the sound and regulate the humidity in the room. Due to these properties, the well being with a rug made of genuine new wool increases directly noticeable.
Cotton chain: Cotton is an excellent warp (base fabric) for a genuine hand-knotted rug, as it is hard-wearing and at the same time can be spun fine and close-meshed.
Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
